About This Site

RebelMouse's infrastructure has built-in redundancies and failover routing to ensure optimal performance and uptime. But the product weaves together the social web which depends on many changing factors including bugs from 3rd parties at social giants, infrastructure giants, ad networks etc. The RebelMouse team is built for global 24/7 coverage to identify and adapt to issues and opportunities and be a continuously iterating platform.

Once we are aware of an issue that may be impacting your site performance, we will post notices and provide updates on this page. If you are experiencing issues and do not see a notice posted, or feel you have potentially useful information to share with our team, please email status@rebelmouse.com.

Important Security Update Jul 3, 2024 02:00-06:00 EDT
We are committed to ensuring the highest level of security for our platform. As part of our continuous efforts to protect your data, we will be deploying a crucial security update that will enhance the logged-in experience.

WHAT'S CHANGING

- User sessions will be dropped if the login email is changed.
- User sessions will be dropped if the password is changed.

IMPACT

Due to the changes in backend logic, all users will be logged out after the deployment of this update. This means that you will need to log back in to access your account.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO

- Simply log back into your account after the update is deployed.
- If you encounter any issues, please contact our support team for assistance.

WHY THIS UPDATE IS IMPORTANT

This update is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance security measures and protect your personal information from unauthorized access. By invalidating sessions when critical account details are changed, we add an extra layer of security to your account.
When a user's email or password is changed, it is a security best practice to invalidate all active sessions for that user. This ensures that any existing sessions that may have been compromised are terminated, requiring the user to log in again with the new credentials.
